‘Jaat’ Sunny Deol Wishes To Settle In South India, Says ‘Producers Of Bombay Should Learn’ From Tollywood



Sunny Deol is all set to showcase his action avatar once again in his upcoming film Jaat. On Monday, ie, today the trailer was unveiled and during the discussion, the actor didn’t hold back from appreciating the south films and slammed Bollywood.

During the trailer launch of Jaat, Sunny Deol said, “I want our Bombay producers to learn from them. Only then will it become Hindi cinema and not Bollywood. Bollywood producers should learn how to make cinema. Films are made with love and passion, not like mere projects. I immediately want to do one more film with them. Actually I want to settle down South after working for this film”. Interestingly, at the end of the trailer, Sunny Deol says, “Yeh dhai kilo ke hate ki  taakat pura north dekh chuka hai. Ab South dekhega”.

The high-octane film is directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. Sunny Deol, renowned for his powerful performances and magnetic screen presence, is collaborating with Malineni, a director acclaimed for seamlessly blending intense action with compelling storytelling. Jatt also stars Regina Cassandra, Randeep Hooda, Ayesha Khan, Saiyami Kher, Zarina Wahab, Bandhavi Sridhar, Ishika Kota and Praneeta Patnaik among others.

Principal photography commenced in June 2024 and was extensively filmed across Hyderabad, Bapatla and Visakhapatnam.  The film’s music is composed by Thaman S. Furthermore, the film’s action sequences, choreographed by Anal Arasu, Ram Laxman, and Venkat, promise to deliver breathtaking stunts that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Jaat is scheduled to release in cinemas on April 10.
