It’s A Moment! Exes Kareena Kapoor-Shahid Kapoor Share A Hug, Catch Up At IIFA 2025 Press Conference



IIFA 2025: Moments from one of the biggest awards nights are already making its way on social media. A press conference before the big event got together ex-couple Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actors acknowledged each other and shared a friendly hug, a move that has gone viral on social media.

Both Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor will perform at the IIFA Awards 2025 on March 8. As a part of the event, the actors, along with other guests like Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon and Madhuri Dixit came together for a press conference followed by a group photo. After the photo, Kareena, who had just landed in Jaipur, headed towards Shahid Kapoor to give him a hug.

The actors could be seen catching up with each other during the rest of the event. Fans of the actors took to the comment section of the paparazzi account sharing the videos and expressing their excitement seeing the ex-couple together. Kareena and Shahid Kapoor also featured together in one of the most popular Bollywood movies Jab We Met and Udta Punjab .

‘Kareena and Shahid Kapoor were once the most loved couple in Bollywood. The actors featured together in films like Fida, Chup Chup Ke and Jab We Met. Their chemistry both on and off screen was most loved by fans. The duo dated for a long time in the late 2000s before parting ways in 2006.
 

Later, Shahid Kapoor got married to Mira Rajput in 2015. The couple is now parents to a son and a daughter. Kareena began dating her Tashan co-star Saif Ali Khan who she married in 2012, in an intimate setting. The actors are parents to two sons – Taimur and Jeh Ali Khan. Following their breakup, Shahid and Karena featured together in Udta Punjab (2016).
