Shahid Kapoor often shares glimpses of his house on his Instagram house. In a new home tour video, the actor’s wife Mira Rajput shared the inspiration behind the design of their residence and flaunted the 10,000 sq. ft., their elegant duplex that combines the taste of the couple. The sea-facing house seamlessly blends sophistication with comfort.
In the recent issue of Architecture Digest, Mira Rajput gave a home tour of her home in Mumbai’s Worli where she lives with her husband and actor Shahid Kapoor and their two children – Misha and Zain. The four-bedroom duplex is defined keeping in mind the family’s comfort, love for hosting and to cater to work. The house features a DJ setup for Shahid, a guest suite, an open-air gym, a workspace, a pantry and a home theatre among several other unique facilities.

Speaking to the publication, Mira stressed that she takes after her mother and loves to host as a result of which the house is brimming with people who are gathered for cricket screenings, movie nights and pickleball matches. From colour-changing art piece that adorns the dining space to uniquely designed lights, the couple’s love for art is highlighted in a walk through their house.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s residence is located in the high-profile Worli area of Mumbai. Speaking to AD, Mira admitted that she was hesitant about moving to the other side of the Sea Link, as the couple previously resided in Juhu. During the pandemic, when the 30-year-old was expecting her son, the couple designed the house in over 14 months. Architect Annkur Khosla and contractor Laxman Mistry assisted the duo in designing the space.

As per a 2022 report, Shahid and Mira’s luxurious adobe costs over ₹58 crore. The sea-facing apartment overlooks the Bandra-Worli sea link and the view often features in the couple’s social media posts. Over the years, Shahid and his wife, Mira Rajput, have expanded their financial portfolio, investing in startups and launching their own companies to build their wealth as well.
