Ibrahim Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor’s Nadaaniyan Copy Of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai? Makers Announces Release Date With Surprise Video

Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Netflix’s upcoming film, Nadaaniyan along with Khushi Kapoor. The maker has finally announced the release date of a new-age romance drama but with a surprise promo video that changes the meaning of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s iconic scene and in no time fans were seen reacting to it.

Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan posted a video on their Instagram accounts featuring Archana Puran Singh entering a classroom. The video showcases a fun recreation of the iconic Kuch Kuch Hota Hai scene, “Pyaar Dosti Hai.” Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor portray college students sitting in a classroom. Archana Puran Singh, reprising her OG role Miss Briganza, enters to teach the class. When she asks her iconic Romeo and Juliet question about love, Khushi, as Pia Jai Singh, is unable to respond. Ibrahim, playing Arjun Mehta, offers a twist to the classic line, saying, “Pyaar Ek Arrangement Hai” (Love is an arrangement).

Fans reacted enthusiastically, with one commenting, “Miss Briganza is back but why with Khushi,” and another remarking, “Ibrahim doesn’t give Rahul-from-Kuch Kuch Hota Hai vibes.” An earlier promo video also faced trolling online.

A few days back, Khushi Kapoor shared a video on her Instagram where Ibrahim’s character tries eagerly to approach the actress’ character, only to be ignored as the shoot concludes. Left in tears, Ibrahim is visibly upset. The caption accompanying the video read, “Clearly his #Galatfehmi,” referencing a song from their film.

The video quickly went viral, attracting criticism from netizens. One user commented, “Such brainrot behaviour,” while another wrote, “Delete this while you still have the time.” A third user questioned, “Is this how he has also acted in the film?”

This film marks Ibrahim Ali Khan’s OTT debut. He is reportedly part of Diler, a sports drama where he will star alongside Sreeleela, marking the Bollywood debut for both. In another project, Sarzameen, Ibrahim will share the screen with Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
