However, the company is unlikely to host a dedicated launch event and may introduce the smartphone through a press release instead.
The Google Pixel 10a is expected to ship with Android 16 out of the box, along with support for the Android 17 beta. It is also likely to receive seven years of OS and security updates from the company.

The Pre-orders for the Google Pixel 10a will begin at 9 PM IST, as mentioned on Flipkart’s landing page. The smartphone will be available for pre-order on Flipkart and the Google Store in India. Google is also offering several deals through its online store. These include exchange bonuses on select Pixel smartphones, no-cost EMI options for up to 24 months, and Google Store credits during promotional offers.
According to a report by retailer WinFuture, the Pixel 10a may be priced at EUR 499 (around Rs 52,800) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 256GB storage version could cost EUR 599 (approximately Rs 64,300). However, tech giant Google has not officially confirmed the pricing for India or other markets yet.

The Pixel 10a is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The smartphone is also tipped to support Bluetooth 6 connectivity, offering an upgrade over the previous generation. It is likely to pack the same battery capacity as its predecessor but could see a significant improvement in charging speeds, with reports suggesting support for 45W wired charging compared to the earlier 23W support.
Under the hood, Google is expected to power the device with the same Tensor G4 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB. There are currently no indications of a 512GB variant this year. In terms of optics, the Pixel 10a is once again likely to feature a 48MP main camera along with a 13MP ultra-wide lens.
