Fauji: Prabhas To Shoot High-Octane Action Scenes For Hanu Raghavapudi’s Directorial Post Ankle Injury

Prabhas has been busy working on multiple projects for months, including Hanu Raghavapudi. Their film titled Fauji has been slowly building up excitement amongst fans. The actor who had recently suffered an ankle injury will be reportedly back on sets for the movie.

According to a report in 123 Telugu, Prabhas will begin shooting for film Fauji. Reportedly, the film has been put on hold after the actor had suffered an ankle injury. As per sources, Prabhas will be shooting action-packed intense battle scenes.

The intense battle fight scenes will depict the fight of the Razakars against the Nizam rule in Hyderabad. The movie is rumoured to be based on the Razakar movement. The film was announced last year and the makers posted pictures of the pooja ceremony on social media.

In December 2024, reports surfaced about Prabhas sustaining an ankle injury while working on the sets of Fauji. This came to light after the actor missed the premiere of his previous film, Kalki 2898 AD, in Japan.

Filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi had opened up about Nani expressing his interest in working in a war-based film. In the video, Hanu Raghavapudi revealed that he and Nani had discussed a war-based film, and clarified that it wasn’t Sita Ramam. This has led to speculation that the newly announced film with Prabhas might be the same project Hanu had discussed with the Jersey star. These rumours are growing, and only Hanu Raghavapudi’s clarification can put an end to the speculation.

Prabhas has The Raja Saab, Salaar Part 2, Fauji in the pipeline. The Raja Saab touted to be a horror comedy is helmed by Maruthi and scheduled to release on April 10, 2025. The film stars Niddhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan and Sanjay Dutt in key roles.

He also has a cameo appearance in Vishnu Manchu starrer Kannappa. Prabhas also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s project Spirit as well and Kalki 2898 AD part 2.
