NEW DELHI: Mohammed Siraj struck twice in two balls — including the prized wicket of England captain Ben Stokes for a golden duck — as India tightened their grip on Day 3 of the second Test at Edgbaston on Friday.Bowling his first over of the day, Siraj first dismissed Joe Root for 22. The delivery, angled down the leg side, tempted Root into a flick toward fine leg. Instead, the ball brushed his glove, and Rishabh Pant made no mistake behind the stumps. A visibly frustrated Root walked off shaking his head.Off the very next ball, Siraj produced a brute of a delivery to send Stokes packing for a first-ball duck. The ball, pitched on a short-of-a-length, reared up sharply and caught Stokes by surprise. The England skipper was caught in a tangle, managed only a thin edge, and Pant claimed his second catch in two balls.Siraj let out a roar, fists pumping in celebration, as the Indian players surrounded him in jubilation.
