Did Bollywood Conspire Against Govinda To Remove Him From Film Industry? Actor Says ‘Shariantra Ke Baad Mera…’



Govinda is one of Bollywood’s most cherished actors. Renowned for his captivating charm, remarkable dance skills, and flawless comedic timing, Govinda has made a lasting impact on Indian cinema. During a recent conversation, the actor revealed how Bollywood industry conspired against him.

Govinda revealed few interesting details during his appearance on actor Mukesh Khanna’s YouTube channel. He said, “ went through a defamation phase, and it was pre-planned. They wanted to remove me from the industry. I understood that these were all educated people, and I, an uneducated outsider, had entered their space. So they started playing games with me. I can’t take their names because I am still surviving because of the work I did in the industry,”.

He further said, “When they were writing that I didn’t have work, I had actually turned down films worth Rs 100 crore. I would look in the mirror and slap myself for refusing that money. I told myself, ‘You have gone mad; you could have financed yourself with that money.’ The films had the same kind of roles that are working well these days.”

Govinda, aka Govinda Arun Ahuja has appeared in several popular film. He made his debut with 1986 movie Love 86. He has delivered commercial hits including Khudkarz, Dariya Dil, Jaisi Karrni Waisi Bharni, Swarg, Hum, Partner, Bhagam Bhag and Shola Aur Shabnam among others.

Govinda was last seen in Rangeela Raja in 2019, in which he played the double role. The film was panned by the critics and audience and tanked at the box office.
