DC Box Office Collection Day 6: Lokesh Kanagaraj-Wamiqa Gabbi Starrer To Surpass ₹40 Crore Mark In Opening Week



DC Box Office Collection: Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi starrer is performing well at the box office in India. The film has been holding its ground owing to the positive word of mouth. Seeing the pace of the collection, the film is likely to earn over ₹40 crore in the opening week.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned ₹5 crore across 4715 shows on the sixth day of release. This brings the net total to ₹37.50 crore and gross total to ₹43.12 crore in India.

Overseas, the film collected ₹1 crore, taking the gross total to ₹15.50 crore.

Adding domestic and overseas collections, the worldwide gross collection is ₹58.62 crore.

DC registered 32.65 per cent overall Tamil occupancy on Wednesday, with maximum reported in Kochi (65.5 per cent).

Helmed by Arun Matheswaran, the film also stars Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Thalaivasal Vijay and Kasthuri Raja in pivotal roles. The film marks a significant milestone for Lokesh, who has earned widespread recognition as the director of films including Maanagaram, Kaithi, Master, Vikram, Leo and Coolie. Critics and the audience are praising Lokesh’s performance. The film’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has created a 15-track soundtrack blending haunting melodies with high-energy compositions to complement the film’s emotional and action-packed narrative.

The additional screenplay is by Arun Ranjan, while Arun Matheswaran and Franklin Jacob have penned dialogues. Cinematography is by Mukesh G, and editing is by G. K. Prasanna. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film was distributed across North India’s Hindi-speaking markets by Dharma Productions.
