DC Box Office Collection: Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi’s actioner is performing well in India. It made a promising start at the box office and witnessed a spike in the collection over the weekend. Owing to the positive word of mouth, the film even passed the Monday test with flying colours and earned ₹6 crore, more than it earned on the first day of release. On Tuesday, the film witnessed a 10 per cent dip in the collection but is holding its ground.
According to Sacnilk, the film earned ₹5.40 crore across 4713 shows in India. Adding the five-day total, the net stands at ₹32.35 crore while the gross collection is ₹37.31 crore.
Overseas, the film collected ₹1.25 crore, taking the gross total to ₹14.50 crore.
Adding domestic and overseas collections, the worldwide gross total stands at ₹51.71 crore.
Seeing the pace of the collection, the film might earn ₹40 crore in the opening week.
DC registered an overall Tamil occupancy of 39.35 per cent on Tuesday, with the highest reported in Kochi (61.5 per cent).
The film marks a significant milestone for Lokesh, who has earned widespread recognition as the director of films including Maanagaram, Kaithi, Master, Vikram, Leo and Coolie. Critics and the audience are praising Lokesh’s performance.
Lokesh and Wamiqa starrer is enjoying its theatrical run since the day of its release. According to a 123Telugu report, Sun NXT has acquired the digital rights of the movie, and as per the South cinema guidelines, the film can release on OTT after a 4-week theatrical run. Hence, it is believed it will stream on OTT in early September 2026.
Helmed by Arun Matheswaran, the film also stars Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Thalaivasal Vijay and Kasthuri Raja in pivotal roles.
