Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 23: Vicky Kaushal starrer is minting unprecedented numbers at the box office as it entered its fourth weekend on March 7. On its 23rd day at the box office, the film based on the life and valour of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, did a biz of close to ₹17 crore, making it the highest-grossing Indian title on its 4th Saturday at the box office, beating Allu Arjun Pushpa 2.
After entering the ₹500 crore club after three weeks, Chhaava will now look to surpass the collections of Gadar 2 (₹525 crore) to become the 10th highest-grossing Indian film of all time (all languages).
After the astounding success it witnessed in the Hindi belts, the makers of Chhaava released the Telugu dubbed version of the movie on March 7. While it collected ₹2.5 crore in Telugu on its opening day, Chhaava’s biz rose on Saturday, adding over ₹3 crore more to its biz. The India collection of the movie now stands at close to ₹510 crore.
With a little boost on Sunday, Chhaava could very well surpass Gadar 2 collection on March 9. Chhaava stars Vicky As Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Akshay Khanna plays Aurangzeb and Rashmika Mandanna portrays Yesubai Bhosale.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis recently said the movie Chhaava highlights the bravery and intelligence of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and that historians didn’t treat him well.
Talking to reporters at the special screening of the movie organised by minister Aditi Tatkare earlier this week, Fadnavis described the film as “very nice”, which, he said, creates awareness of the life and times of the warrior king. Chhaava released on February 14.
