Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 18: Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava released on the occasion of Valentine’s Day and has been on a roll since. The movie starring the Raman Raghav 2.0 actor as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is now marching towards the ₹500 crore mark at the domestic box office. It has already become the 11th highest-grossing Indian film of all time and will now look to enter the top 10, by edging out Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2.

The movie wrapped its 3rd weekend run by collecting over ₹60 crore, the highest for a Hindi film. It beat Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 to clinch the honour. On its 3rd Monday, the film minted ₹8.50 crore taking its India biz to ₹467.25 crore. It will now look to enter the ₹500 crore club.

The film will now release in Telugu on March 7, looking to boost its collection from the market in the South.

Talking about his role as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Chhaava and how he prepared for the role, Vicky Kaushal said, “During the prep, a lot of things happened, and I told Laxman sir that something right is happening somewhere. I feel shy to talk about the prep now that the work is done, but whatever was inside me, I gave it all to this. I am satisfied knowing that I had nothing more to give to any film than what I’ve given to this one.”

Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar and also stars Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna.
