Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 15: Vicky Kaushal Starrer Witnesses Lowest Single-Day Earnings So Far, Crosses ₹400 Cr Mark

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 15: Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna starrer Chhaava has finally breached the ₹400 crore mark at the domestic box office. It took the film a little over two weeks to reach the milestone. While the film, based on the heroics and valour of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, is expected to mint ₹500 crore plus in India, its third Friday collections are a positive sign.

Chhaava witnessed its lowest single-day collection on Friday, February 28. The film’s collections are expected to be better on its third Saturday and Sunday. This will also put the film on track to the ₹500 crore mark at the box office in India. It has collected ₹142.50 crore in 15 days since its release.

What will work in its favour is that Chhaava will enjoy a solo run in cinema halls till Holi. With no big or anticipated releases lined up in March, the Vicky Kaushal starrer will look to make the most of it.

Talking about his role as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Chhaava and how he prepared for the role, Vicky Kaushal said, “During the prep, a lot of things happened, and I told Laxman sir that something right is happening somewhere. I feel shy to talk about the prep now that the work is done, but whatever was inside me, I gave it all to this. I am satisfied knowing that I had nothing more to give to any film than what I’ve given to this one.”

Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar and also stars Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna.
