Celebrity Masterchef: Farah Khan Brutally Trolled For Making Fun Of Anupamaa Actor Gaurav Khanna’s Colour Blindness

Gaurav Khanna is one the talented and finest actors in the TV industry. Apart gaining recognition after featuring in Anupamaa, he is currently showcasing his cooking skills in cooking reality show Celebrity Masterchef. Host of the show Farah Khan is now facing backlash after she mocked the actor’s colour blindness.

In the latest episode of Celebrity Masterchef, Farah Khan’s special dish ‘Roast Chicken’ was the cooking challenge for the contestants. During the episode, Gaurav revealed that he is colour blind. Farah reacted, saying, “What rubbish.”

With this reaction of Farah Khan, it sparked reaction amongst netizens. One X user wrote, “Haven’t seen the epi, but I have found Farah to be a lil insensitive so many times. With Faisu for example – she is constantly surprised that a person with his background is now part of MC, knows what macarons are, and similar such instances. She is a lil too much sometimes”. Another user wrote, “Farha’s behaviour is so pathetic. Why she has been chosen as a judge in a cooking show when she can hardly cook. Disgraceful”. “Farah humour is not so funny”, wrote the third user.

This season, television celebrities have joined together to show their culinary skills on national television. As per the promo, the contestants include, Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Dipika Kakar, Rajiv Adatia, Nikki Tamboli, Archana Gautam, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Usha Nadkarni, Kabita Singh, Chandan Prabhakar, and Abhijeet Sawant.

The cooking show began on January 27. This is the UK-based Masterchef concept that is being first time followed in India. Popular chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna have returned as judges along with Bollywood choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan. Celebrity MasterChef streaming now on Sony LIV.
