In a candid conversation at Republic Summit 2025, Ranveer Brar spoke about food, stories and the culture of India going global. He talked about how “food is democratic” and a medium of expression. Replying to the burning question, Ranveer Brar quipped, “Veg biryani hoti hai, agar aap meri recipe se banaye toh. Food is democratic, nobody can own. Agar aapke liye veg biryani hoti hai, toh hoti hai, as long as mere YouTube channel ki recipe se bani ho.” His answer left the audience laughing in splits.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the Chief Guest at the Republic Plenary Summit 2025. Speaking before him, Ranveer manifested cooking for him and left him with a thought, giving him a choice to pick between the cuisines from Gujarat and Kerala . “I manifest it here. Two regions that speak to me a lot are Kerala and Gujarat. I feel the food there has the right mix of diversity and balance in flavour and I look forward to celebrating that with you. Leaving that thought with you sir,” he said.
