Tejasvi Surya-Sivasri Skandaprasad Wedding: The BJP MP from Bengaluru is all set to tie the knot with Ponniyin Selvan 2 singer. A wedding invite of the couple sheds light on details of their nuptials. The wedding is expected to take place in the presence of family members and close friends of the two. Their reception will be held in the Gayatri Vihar grounds in Tejasvi Surya’s hometown Bengaluru. A small puja has also been organised earlier in the day for the couple to seek blessings as they step into this new phase in their lives.

Sivasri is a musician and singer by profession. Her breakthrough came in 2024 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised a Kannada devotional song she recorded, Poojisalende Hoogala Thande, which she shared on her YouTube channel. Her channel now has over 2.2 lakh subscribers. She has also sung a song for the Tamil film Ponniyan Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam.
The love story of Tejasvi and Sivasri
Tejasvi Surya is a two-time Lok Sabha MP from Bengaluru South and the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). He and Sivasri Skandaprasad got engaged earlier this year. She hails from Chennai and is a Carnatic singer.
Tejasvi is said to be an admirer of Sivasri’s music. He first saw her perform at a function and the two connected. A family source earlier revealed that their bond became stronger with time. During his political campaign in 2022, Tejasvi attended one of her performances. Their public appearances also became frequent over time.
