New Delhi: SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Epic which combines both Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2:  The Conclusion (2017), is set for digital premiere following it’s theatrical release on 31st October. 

When and where to watch Baahubali: The Epic?

Although an official announcement has not been made, Baahubali: The Epic is set to release on Netflix on Thursday (December 25) for Christmas.

However, the app reveals that the film is to arrive on the platform this Thursday.

The film’s duration is 3 hours and 43 minutes, while the synopsis reads: “Years after his father was betrayed, a warrior battles to reclaim the throne of Mahishmati in this remastered single version of the epic two-part series.” The end of the film announces the animated film, Baahubali: The Eternal War, to be directed by Ishan Shukla.


Baahubali: The Epic

To mark the 10th anniversary of Baahubali: The Beginning which was released on July 10, 2015, SS Rajamouli announced a special surprise for fans. To celebrate the milestone, he revealed that both Baahubali: The Beginning and its blockbuster sequel Baahubali 2: The Conclusion will return to theatres, this time merged into one monumental cinematic experience titled Baahubali: The Epic.

The reimagined presentation  released worldwide on October 31, 2025. 

The film features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles, with Ramya Krishnan, Nasser, and Sathyaraj in pivotal parts.

The re-release spanned 1,150 theatres worldwide, not just in India. In the US, the film is screening across 400 theatres, while the UK and Ireland have 210, the UAE and GCC over 150, Australia and New Zealand around 144, and Southeast Asia more than 100.

Rajamouli is known to direct big movies like RRR, the Baahubali franchise starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles. The Naatu Naatu song from the film bagged a Golden Globe and an Oscar, putting the filmmaker on the global map. He is now directing Varanasi with Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is slated for release for Sankranthi 2027.
