The megastar recently completed a gruelling 24-hour work shift for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, choosing to push through an around-the-clock schedule rather than delay production.

Taking to his personal blog, Bachchan shared that he worked continuously from 7 am one day until 7 am the next, explaining that the assignment could not be postponed because of the show’s production timeline.
“Aaaahhhh… got hold of time in time… finished work at 7 am this morning… of work that began at 7 am yesterday… but the importance of its presentation and its timely work was necessary… so DID IT,” he wrote.
After wrapping up the marathon schedule, the actor admitted he was looking forward to catching up on some sleep before another early morning call.
“But more the relief of having connected with the daily routine of the Blog and the Ef… I shall retire now, get some food in the belly… hit a pillow for a while for, tomorrow the 6th Aug is another early call…”

Bachchan also revealed that with the premiere date of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 now confirmed, skipping work was never really an option.
“The first Broadcast Date for KBC is announced… and missing that would mean a job replacement for me. So off to do what needs to be done,” he wrote, adding his trademark touch of humour.
