Akshay Kumar’s Hera Pheri At Kanappa Teaser Launch Leaves Everyone In Splits, Vishnu Manchu Speechless

Vishnu Manchu is set to play the lead role in the Telugu historical drama Kannappa, based on the life of a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. The first ever teaser for the film was launched in Mumbai on Monday. The event saw the presence of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, among other cast members. During the event, Vishnu shared some heartfelt thoughts about his experience working with Khiladi Kumar. However, in a twisted turn, Padman actor shared a fun moment with Vishnu as he teased him with an inside joke. The video is now going viral.

A few days back, Vishnu Manchu shared why he chose New Zealand over locations in India to film his upcoming historical epic Kannappa, which is based on a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. The Ginna actor again spoke about his experience working there. During the conversation, Akshay Kumar interrupted him, jokingly asking, “Kitne dino ke liye gaye the?” (For how many days did you go?)

Vishnu replied, “Main lagbhag 5 months ke liye wahan tha.” (I was there for almost five months.) Akshay playfully teased him, saying, “Toh Shiv ji wahan nahi aaye the. Mujhe leke kyun nahi gaye? Wahan nahi pahunch paye. Mere andar bhi Shiv hai, mujhe kyun nahi le gaye?” (So, Lord Shiva didn’t appear there? Why didn’t you take me? I couldn’t make it there. Shiva is within me too, so why didn’t you take me?)

The light-hearted exchange had everyone laughing, and the video quickly went viral, with many poking fun at Vishnu.

This followed when Vishnu Manchu spoke about his gratitude for Akshay Kumar’s presence at the event. “Akshay Kumar and I don’t have a personal relationship, but I’m so grateful to have met him now.

Vishnu went on to say, “For me, when I thought of Lord Shiva, I thought of Akshay Kumar. For this generation, anyone who thinks of Lord Shiva, I hope and am confident, will immediately think of Akshay Kumar’s portrayal. That’s the kind of devotion we’ve tried to bring into this film.”

Vishnu also showed his respect for actors like Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, and Prabhas. He stated, “They all have that undying spirit of never giving up, and I’ve learned a lot from them. Most of the people who acted in this movie did so because of the love they have for my father.” He expressed his gratitude to Mohanlal and Prabhas for their contributions to the film.
