After Taylor Swift, White House uses Sabrina Carpenter’s song ‘Juno’ in ICE deportation video – Watch

Pop star Sabrina Carpenter publicly condemned a recent White House social‑media video that used her song ‘Juno’ to soundtrack footage of ICE arrests and deportation raids. Sabrina replied to the WH video on X and said: “this video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”The clip was shared earlier this week and begins with scenes of a protest and then switches to a montage of people being captured, restrained and handcuffed by ICE agents. The video caption lifts a lyric from her song: “Have you ever tried this one? Bye‑bye.” In recent months, the White House has come under fire for using songs by popular artists in its social-media posts without permission. Taylor Swift’s The Fate of Ophelia appeared in a video alongside images of Donald Trump and military forces. Cynthia Erivo’s performance from Wicked was used in footage showing ICE arrests and deportations. The Trump administration has also incorporated music from other pop artists in political content, using upbeat songs to make controversial policies appear more acceptable.Unlike Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift has not spoken out or complained about the government using her songs, which many of her fans did not like.
