After Mohanlal, Ajay Devgn To Announce Drishyam 3? Here’s What We Know



Mohanlal, on Thursday, announced that he is returning as Georgekutty for Drishyam 3. Now two days later, it has been reported that Ajay Devgn will also begin with the shooting for Drishyam 3 in Hindi. Ajay’s Drishyam franchise was inspired by Mohanlal’s Malayalam crime thriller of the same name. The first Drishyam (in Hindi) was released in 2015. On seeing the success of the movie, seven years later, Ajay returned with the sequel. Now, three years later, they might return with the threequel.

Drishyam is one of the hit movies in Bollywood, which is about a man taking desperate measures to save his family from the dark side of the law after they commit an unexpected crime.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ajay has approved the script of Drishyam 3 and will begin with the shooting, either in July or August. Earlier, the veteran actor was supposed to shoot some other film, but now he has given the dates to director Abhishek Pathak. The source told the portal that Ajay was “bowled” over by the twists and turns in the Drishyam 3 screenplay during narration. Now, he is excited to return as Vijay Salgaonkar.

However, before moving to the third installment of Drishyam, Ajay will wrap up the shooting for Dhamaal 4, De De Pyaar De 2 and Ranger, told the source Pinkvilla.

Currently, he is shooting for DDPD 2, co-starring Rakul Preet Singh, Tabu and R Madhavan. The movie will begin with Rakul telling her parents about Ajay Devgn. In the movie, Madhavan will reportedly play the role of Rakul’s father.

Ajay was last seen in Azaad, starring debutants Aaman Devgn and Rasha Thadani. Next, he will be seen in Raid 2, De De Pyaar De 2 and Son of Sardaar 2.
