Orry aka Orhan Awatramani has taken over headlines following a recent controversy. The Jammu & Kashmir Police have booked him along with seven others for consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra. The incident came to light after he shared an Instagram story showing moments with his friends. FIRs have been filed against all involved. This places the Call Me Bae actor alongside Ranveer Allahbadia in discussions about the increasing brazenness of influencers under the guise of creating content.
Orry Vaisho Devi controversy
Orry and seven others were booked after being caught drinking at a hotel in Katra. A video of the incident has gone viral, with netizens criticising Orry for allegedly disrespecting Hindu sentiments. According to Republic sources, one of those involved is a Russian national, Anastasila Arzamaskina.
An FIR (No. 72/25) was registered at Katra Police Station against Orhan Awatramani (Orry), Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritick Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and Anastasila Arzamaskina. They were charged with violating a District Magistrate’s order and offending religious sentiments under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Sunil Sharma, the Leader of the Opposition in Jammu and Kashmir, condemned the incident, describing it as unfortunate that a Bollywood figure was involved in hurting religious sentiments.
Ranveer Allahbadia India’s Got Latent controversy
A few days back, Ranveer Allahbadia was dragged to the ground after his controversial remark on India’s Got Latent, hosted by Samay Raina. During his appearance, he posed an inappropriate question: “Would you prefer to watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life, or would you participate once and then stop it forever?”
Known for his podcasts on spirituality and Sanatan Dharma, the YouTuber’s remark shocked his audience. Fans expressed their disapproval by unfollowing both his personal account and his professional page, BeerBiceps. The controversy led to a drop in followers, multiple FIRs, and widespread outrage across the country. Several celebrities, including B Praak, cancelled their collaborations with him following the incident.
Samay Raina controversy
Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent stirred controversy after an episode featuring Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchalani, Apoorva Mukhija, and Gursimran aired. The panellists’ lewd and perverted comments about parental intercourse triggered nationwide outrage. Consequently, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell summoned Samay Raina and the other guests on the show. This controversy also led to the cancellation of his live shows.
Gaurav Taneja and Ritu Rathee’s divorce controversy
A month back, Gaurav Taneja and his wife, Ritu Rathee, were in the spotlight due to rumours of trouble in their marriage. The couple reportedly visited Premanand Govind Sharan, also known as Premanand Ji Maharaj, in Vrindavan to seek spiritual advice related to their relationship, which sparked speculation.

Parul Gulati controversy
Actress and entrepreneur Parul Gulati recently faced criticism for purchasing a house in Goa with plans to turn it into an Airbnb rental. During a podcast with ‘influencer’ Sharan Hegde, she discussed her investment in real estate. Gulati, who founded Nish Hair, shared that she is currently paying off the Goa property, which will eventually provide her with a second income stream. However, her plans sparked outrage, particularly among Goans. Many criticised her in the comments, arguing that the influx of hotels, Airbnbs, pubs, and clubs has already tarnished the natural beauty of the state.
