Infidelity in the glitzy town of Mumbai is back in the headlines. Actress Aditi Sharma of Apollena TV serial is headed for divorce from her husband Abhineet Kaushik, who alleged that Aditi cheated on him with her co-star Samarthya Gupta. Apollena started airing in December last year and Abhineet’s marriage with Aditi took place a few months prior. According to the husband, Aditi was in a secret relationship with Samarthya and refused to acknowledge their marital status, when confronted. Abhineet also alleged that Aditi’s family demanded Rs 25 lakh for granting divorce.
While claims of Aditi’s infidelity have gone viral, cheating allegations have previously mired these entertainment industry celebs.
Beyhadh actor Kushal Tandon had a very public relationship with Gauahar Khan and they began dating while appearing in Bigg Boss 7 in 2013. Soon after, the former couple was seen in public, hinting that theirs was not for the camera. However, Gauahar and Kushal broke up, reportedly due to the latter’s infidelity.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein star Karan Patel was said to be in two relationships at the same time. When he was allegedly involved seriously with Kamya Panjabi, he also started dating his now-wife Ankita Bhargava. It is said that Karan’s secret relationship with Ankita led to his breakup with Kamya.
Karan features twice in the list of actors who have allegedly cheated on their partners. His marriage with Shraddha Nigam didn’t last long, reportedly because he was cheating on her with his Dill Mill Gayye co-star Jennifer Winget. They married soon but their wedding too fell apart after 10 months. This time again, Karan allegedly was unfaithful and was secretly meeting his now-wife Bipasha Basu.
Jawan actor Eijaz Khan has been accused of infidelity in more than one relationship. Once, Eijaz dated his Kkavyanjali co-star Anita Hassanandani but they broke up due to Eijaz erring astray. He was most recently dating Pavitra Punia. As their marriage rumours swirled, Pavitra and Eijaz parted ways with each side blaming each other.
Karan Kundrra dated Anusha Dandekar for almost three years. They also hosted shows on MTV. In 2020, however, Anusha accused Karan of cheating on her while they were still together.
Counter allegations followed from his side. Karan, later, featured in Bigg Boss 15 where he found love in his fellow participant Tejasswi Prakash.
