Jana Nayagan: Thalapathy Vijay’s Last Film To Star Directors Atlee, Lokesh Kanagaraj And Nelson Dilipkumar In Cameo?

Thalapathy Vijay is busy shooting for Jana Nayagan, which might mark his final cinematic venture. While not much is known about the plot of the movie, a last report suggests that directors Nelson Dilipkumar, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee will make a cameo appearance in the movie. Vijay has worked with all three directors and their movies have been blockbuster hits at the Tamil box office.

According to a report in Valai Pechu, Atlee, Nelson Dilipkumar and Lokesh Kanagaraj will make a special appearance in a song with Vijay. The song reportedly shows the actor’s transition from his acting to his political journey. The song will serve as a send-off to Vijay before he makes a full-time career in politics.

However, makers have yet to make an official statement regarding this.

Since all these directors play a major role in the actor’s cinematic journey, so the director H. Vinoth decided to feature them in the movie. Atlee and Vijay have worked in three movies – Theri, Mersal and Bigil. With Lokesh, he has worked in two movies – Master and Leo – while with Nelson Dilipkumar he has worked in only one movie – Beast.

Apart from Vijay, the movie will also star Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol in the lead roles. Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani,  Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Monisha Blessy and Mamitha Baiju, star in supporting roles. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography handled by Sathyan Sooryan and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav.

Jana Nayagan was initially scheduled to be released in October 2025 but now the makers have postponed.
