Shawn Mendes Goes Unrecognized In Mumbai As Singer Goes For Street Shopping In Colaba Ahead Of Lollapalooza 2025 | WATCH



Popular singer Shawn Mendes is gearing up to perform at the upcoming music festival Lollapalooza 2025 on March 8 and ahead of it he was snapped shopping at a local market in Mumbai. It is uncertain when Mendes arrived in India, but he was recently snapped at the Colaba Causeway market. In the videos going viral on the internet, the locals are unable to recognise the Canadian singer and treat him as a regular foreigner in the country. However, a few of his fans were able to recognise him later and even posed for a picture with him.

In the video going viral on the internet, the Senorita singer can be seen checking out footwear at a street shop in Colaba. He opted for a relaxed look for his day out in the city – a white vest paired with beige corduroy pants and a sling bag. Sharing the video, a fan wrote, “Shawn Mendes is buying chappal in Colaba (crying emoticon).”

While strolling down the lanes, he eventually got recognised by a female fan. In the images, he can be seen happily posing for the camera with a fan.

The third edition of Lollapalooza in India is all set to kick off on Match 8 at the iconic Mahalaxmi Race Course. Mendes will be performing on the first day, where he is expected to enthrall the audience with his chartbuster tracks  Senorita, Mercy, Treat You Better, In My Blood and more. To note, this will mark his debut performance in India. Apart from Mendes, Glass Animals, Zedd, DOT., SPRYX and are scheduled to perform on the first day.

The 2-day event will conclude on March 9 with Green Day, Louis Tomlinson, Aurora, Hanumankind, Green Park, Raftar & Kr$na, John Summit and others’ power-pack performance.
