Aamir Khan has finally reacted to the rumours around his third wedding. On Thursday, he held a press conference where he confirmed the wedding to his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt and shared the details. The actor will get married on July 5. The veteran actor was accompanied by his elder son, Junaid Khan. The couple began dating each other in early 2024 and confirmed the rumours in March 2025. For the unversed, this will be Aamir’s third wedding, following a divorce from Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.
The couple will get married on July 5 at the actor’s Bandra house in the presence of their family and close friends. During the press conference, he said, “Shaadi hai 5 July ko. Ghar pe hi kar rahe hai. Bahut hi choti shadi hai. Bahut hi khaas din hai 5 tarikh hamare liye. Dono families hai aur kuch khaas dost hai. Ghar pe hi kar rahe hai. Aap sabhi ki dua chahiye bas ki hum khush rahe aur achha safar rahe. Bahut hi chota sa affair hai. Bahut hi gharelu hai… (Yes, we are getting married on the 5th. It’s a very small wedding; we are doing it at home. The 5th is a very special day for us. There will only be both the families, along with some close friends. We are getting married at home only. We only want everyone’s blessings that we remain happy.)”
According to reports, around 150 people are expected to attend the wedding ceremony. Aamir Khan’s former wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, along with their kids Junaid Khan, Ira Khan and Azad Khan, are also expected to attend the wedding at the actor’s Bandra house. Several relatives are expected to travel from overseas to attend the wedding.
The couple first met around 25 years ago, but they lost touch. They reconnected through Aamir’s cousin Nuzhat Khan, and eventually they took their friendship to the next level. Initially, they kept their relationship private before making it public at Aamir’s 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025.
