Abhishek Sharma’s year-long reign as the world’s No. 1 T20I batter has ended after India teammate Ishan Kishan moved ahead by a slender margin of seven rating points in the latest ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings.The 27-year-old’s rise is the result of his consistent form, especially during this year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. With his explosive batting, Ishan scored 317 runs at a strike rate of 146, including a Player of the Match award against Pakistan in Colombo.
