As a result, the gap between the top two sides has reduced from eight points to five.World champions Australia remain firmly in third place with a rating of 103, maintaining the same tally as before the update.

The top 10 rankings witnessed only one positional change. South Africa have climbed into fourth place with 102 rating points, moving ahead of Pakistan, who now sit fifth on 100 points.

Further down the table, the separation between Bangladesh and the West Indies has become more significant. Bangladesh continue to occupy ninth place, but the margin over the Caribbean side has stretched to 13 rating points.Several movements have also taken place outside the top 10. Ireland have moved ahead of Zimbabwe to claim 11th position.
