‘Donald, Donald Trump’: US president posts self-praise anthem claiming world can’t stop loving him

US President Donald Trump shared an AI-generated music video celebrating himself on his Truth Social platform on Saturday and later reposted a message from the song’s creator, who said he was proud to receive the president’s endorsement. The song, credited to Anthony Constantino, a Trump-endorsed Republican congressional candidate from New York, repeatedly praises the US president and claims he is admired around the world. The minute-long track features Trump’s name dozens of times and includes lyrics claiming that people in countries ranging from Mexico and Italy to China and India “love Donald Trump.”The AI-generated music video accompanying the song contains a series of fictional and exaggerated images of Trump. These include scenes showing Trump paragliding, standing on the Moon in a spacesuit, riding a camel, riding a lion, travelling through a street in India on a motorcycle, posing near the Leaning Tower of Pisa and eating a pizza bearing his own face.

Trump reposts creator’s message

In a separate Truth Social post later, Trump shared a reaction from Constantino, who welcomed the president’s endorsement of the song.“I am proud to be endorsed by President Trump who I wrote this song about,” Constantino wrote in the post shared by Trump. The song appears to be the latest example of AI-generated content circulating in Trump’s online orbit. The US president has frequently used Truth Social to share memes, videos and supporter-generated content, particularly material highlighting his political image and popularity. The video quickly drew attention online because of its unusual visuals and the song’s repetitive lyrics focused almost entirely on praising Trump.
