Oscars 2025 Winner List: The 97th Academy Awards have concluded with Anora taking home five awards, including the biggest prize Best Picture. It was followed by The Brutalist with 4, including Adrien Brody’s Best Actor. There were many first-time winners, including Paul Tazewell, a black man to won the Oscars in the category Best Costume Designer. Zoe Saldaña, who won Oscars for Best Actress Supporting Role for Emilia Perez, has become the first American of Dominican origin to accept an Academy Award. However, Priyanka Chopra-backed Anuja couldn’t make the cut and lost the battle to I’m Not A Robot.

Shockingly, Emilia Perez who earned around 13 nominations at the Oscars, managed to bag only two awards, missing out on the Best Actress award as well. It can be due to the controversy around Karla Sofía Gascón.

The Oscars were held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and live-streamed on ABC, JioHotstar, Star Movies, Hulu and YouTube TV.
