Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 16: Vicky Kaushal Starrer Beats Pushpa 2 Hindi, Stree 2 To Record Highest Third Saturday



Chhaava Box Office Collection: The Vicky Kaushal starrer hit the big screens on February 14. Ever since its release, the movie has been shattering box office records. Despite new releases and non-holiday days, the film has maintained a steady pace at the ticketing counter.

Chhaava opened to ₹31 crore at the domestic box office, becoming the highest Bollywood opener of the year. Since then the movie has been registering houseful theatres. It concluded the first weekend with over ₹110 crore. In its second weekend, the Vicky Kaushal movie raked in ₹107 crore.

The movie is holding steady on the third weekend as well. The historical drama raked in ₹21 crore on the third Saturday of release, which is a rare feat. The film has amassed a total of ₹433.30 in India. With no other significant release till Holi, the Laxman Utekar directorial is expected to have a successful run in the coming weeks as well.

The Vicky Kaushal starrer continues to shatter box office records every day. It has now become the highest-grosser on the third Saturday surpassing Pushpa 2. The Allu Arjun starrer raked in ₹20 crores in its Hindi version on the third Saturday followed by Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 (₹16.5 crores), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (`14.75 crores), as per Sacnilk.

Helmed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is a cinematic adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant. Produced under the banner of Maddock Films, Chhaava was released in the cinema halls on 14th February 2025. In the film, Vicky Kaushal plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Rashmika Mandanna essays the role of Maharani Yesubai and Akshaye Khanna plays Aurangzeb.
