NEW DELHI: Iran pushed back on US President Donald Trump’s claim that its navy was “finished” by showcasing its fast missile boats and referencing a Shah Rukh Khan movie dialogue. In a social media post, slamming Trump and sharing a video of their navy vessels, the Iran consulate in Mumbai said, “Red bees of the #PersianGulf” yeah, the fast missile boats are warming up.“Further adding a warning for the US, it said, “Funny how #Trump kept claiming #Iran’s navy was “finished”… now they’re about to find out how a swarm can pin you down real quick,” adding the SRK’s dialogue from “Om Shanti Om” movie, “Abhi toh sirf trailer hai, picture abhi baaki hai (This was only a trailer, the movie is still left).”Trump has claimed multiple times that Iran’s navy is “completely finished”, with US having sunk multi ships. In the most recent one from Monday, Trump said, “Iran’s Navy is laying at the bottom of the sea, completely obliterated – 158 ships. What we have not hit are their small number of, what they call, “fast attack ships,” because we did not consider them much of a threat. “On the other hand, Iran continues to deny the US President’s claims, saying their defence systems remain. They also have asserted control over Strait of Hormuz, mocking Trump’s decision to order another blockade.
