Jaya Prada’s Brother Raja Babu Dies, Veteran Actress Shares Emotional Post



Veteran actress Jaya Prada is facing tough time in her personal life as her elder brother passed away. She took to social media and shared an emotional post with her fans and followers. The Yamagola fame even mentioned further details would be revealed soon.

Jaya Prada took to her official Instagram handle and shared the news. Along with the picture of her brother, she wrote in the caption, “With great sadness I am informing you about the death of my elder brother Raja Babu. He passed away today at 3:26 pm in Hyderabad. Please keep him in your prayers. Further information will be shared soon.”

Fans too mourned the loss and one user wrote, “Please accept my heart felt condolences, pray his soul rest in eternal peace. OM SHANTI”.Another user wrote, “Very painful news. May the Lord grant salvation to his soul”. “sooo sad …i met him in 88 ehen he was staying at juhu above sagar restaurant opp palm grove RIP”, wrote the third user. For the unversed, Jayaprada was born Lalitha Rani Rao in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh into a Telugu-speaking family.

Apart from films she has also worked in TV shows including Jayapradam, Perfect Pati, The Kapil Sharma Show season 2, Indian Idol, Sasural Simar Ka 2 and Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan among others. Jaya has also bagged accolades including Nandi and Filmfare awards.
