Actor Aman Verma, who played the role of Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini’s elder son in Baghban, and his wife Vandana Lalwani are reportedly getting divorced after 9 years of marriage. The news comes amid cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and Govinda’s respective split buzz from their partners.
Aman and Vandana met on the set of the TV show Humne Li Hai Shapath in the year 2014. Soon after, they got engaged in 2015 and married in the year 2016. Their relationship has reportedly run its course and a conciliation is not in sight.
Reportedly, the Viraasat actor and his wife have been facing marital issues for some time now. Even though they tried to work though their differences, parting seems like the only solution. It is claimed that they were even trying to start a family but Vandana initiated divorce proceedings.
When asked to comment on the matter, Aman, best known for playing Anupam Kapadia in Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, said that he would communicate everything through his lawyer at the right time. Vandana also posted a cryptic note on Instagram. “When he protects you, no force can break you,” Vandana’s post shared on the occasion on Maha Shivratri read.
Earlier in an interview, Aman Verma talked about his married life with Vandana, saying, “Marriage has changed me as a person. I am calmer and do not see any situation with the aggression that I used to before. Also, for me, marriage was a big step because I lived alone for many years and had decided that if I do get married, it will only be when I find the right person.I am enjoying life with Vandana.”
“Earlier, I had set patterns about living life, but now I am more flexible and believe that there are many ways to solve a situation,” he added.
