Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 12: Vicky Kaushal Starrer Remains Rock Steady, Eyes Huge Jump On Maha Shivratri Holiday



Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 12: Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna starrer Chhaava released on Valentine’s Day and has been ruling the box office since its opening. In 12 days, the movie has crossed the ₹350 crore mark in India and is on track to breach the ₹500 crore club milestone. Chhaava has managed to stay rock steady on its weekdays, setting the stage for good growth on Maha Shivratri holiday on February 26.

The second Monday collection of Chhaava was close to ₹20 crore. With the partial holiday of Maha Shivratri on Wednesday, the numbers are expected to climb higher. The movie has also managed to cross the ₹350 crore mark, after it collected close to ₹18 crore on its second Tuesday. According to estimates, the film’s biz in India stands at ₹362.25 crore, but may end up being higher as the real Tuesday collections come in by morning.

Mumbai, Pune, NCR are some of the film’s biggest markets. While Chhaava started off performing well in markets in Maharashtra, with positive word of mouth, regions in North India are also contributing significantly to its success now.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Akshaye Khanna as Emperor Aurangzeb. As the audience has shown strong interest in the historical drama to know the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, Vicky expressed his heartfelt gratitude to people for their abundant love.
