Only True Harry Potter Fans Can Recognise Popular Villain From Franchise In The White Lotus Season 3

HBO’s The White Lotus season 3 has started streaming on JioHotstar in India since last week. Two episodes of the Emmy-winning series have debuted so far, with more weekly episodes to follow. With the new cast and characters, The White Lotus will unpack another thrilling story in Thailand. While BLACKPINK Lisa’s role has stoked fan frenzy with fans looking forward to what more is on offer from her character, it is noteworthy that a popular face from the Harry Potter franchise is also in the new season of The White Lotus, has a prominent role in their kitty, but went unrecognisable without their signature Harry Potter wig.

Jason Isaacs, who rose to prominence for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, features in The White Lotus season 3. The Ratliff family consists of Sam Nivola, Sarah Catherine Hook and Patrick Schwarzenegger and their wealthy Southern parents, played by Isaacs and Parker Posey. Many who recognised Isaacs from the Harry Potter films said that he was giving villain vibes in the first two episodes of his new show.

Many agreed that Isaacs looked unrecognisable without his blonde Harry Potter wig. “His southern accent in the show is kinda hit or miss lol .. almost feel like his real accent is slightly coming out while he talks,” a social media user noted. Another one commented, “I find this hilarious! He’s a very famous actor and has been in many things before and after Harry Potter.”

Speaking of the show, episode 2 amassed 10.2 million viewers in the US, up 92% from the Season 2 premiere episode’s audience in the first week of availability, according to Deadline. In terms of same-day viewers, the second episode of Season 3 is also already outperforming the second episode of Season 2.

The White Lotus is reportedly the second-largest returning original series in platform history, behind only House of the Dragon Season 2.
