A spell of humid weather is set to settle over the UAE from Saturday through Wednesday, bringing a strong chance of fog and mist, particularly across coastal and internal areas during the early morning hours. According to the National Centre of Meteorology, conditions will remain generally fair to partly cloudy throughout the period. While skies may appear clear for much of the day, visibility could drop sharply around dawn as moisture builds overnight.

Temperature shifts through the week

Temperatures are expected to dip slightly on Sunday before climbing again by Tuesday. The change will be gradual rather than dramatic, but residents may notice cooler conditions briefly at the start of the week before warmth returns. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing mainly from the North West to South West. At times they may freshen, with speeds reaching up to 35 km/h.

Sea conditions and travel advisory

The sea will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea for most of the period. However, conditions could turn moderate on Sunday and again on Wednesday. Motorists are urged to take extra care during early morning travel. Fog and mist are likely to reduce visibility in several areas, particularly along highways and open stretches. Slower speeds and increased following distance are strongly advised. While days will stay largely calm and bright, the mornings may demand caution.
