Nani is all geared up for his upcoming crime action thriller HIT 3, which will be helmed by Sailesh Kolanu. The makers recently dropped the teaser of the film and fans are now eagerly waiting for the film’s release. Let’s know about the budget, cast and more details about this highly anticipated movie.
HIT 3 which was initially planned with a modest budget, the scope for the third part has expanded on a larger scale due to involvement of action sequences. Reports suggest that Nani, who is co-producing the film would be investing heavily to ensure that the film would meet high production standards.
According to several reports, HIT 3 is one of the costliest film made in Nani’s career and is shot across ten states. Reportedly, the makers have spent lavishly on the action stunts and on the technicians. Recently, the makers released the teaser of the film. Nani will be playing the role of an angry cop and is said it be the most violent film the actor has ever done in his career.
The first part of the HIT franchise was released in 2022. According to the reports, the film was mounted on a budget of around ₹6.2 crore. As per the estimate of Sacnilk, the film’s worldwide collection came to ₹8 crore. The gross collections at the box office in India, the overall collection is ₹7.5 crore. The first film starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles.
While the second part of HIT franchise, the film was made on a budget of ₹15 crore reportedly. According to the report in Sacnilk, HIT 2 collected ₹25.92 crore in India net at the box office. The film had garnered worldwide ₹41.85 crore. HIT 2 starred Meenakshi Chaudhary, Adivi Sesh, Komalee Prasad, Suhas, Divya Narni and Nani among others.
HIT 3 was first announced a few years ago by director Dr Sailesh Kolanu. The film will release in cinemas on May 1, 2025. It has been produced by Wall Poster Cinema in association with Unanimous Productions. Sailesh Kolanu, who previously helmed successful installments in the HIT franchise.
The film stars Nani, Srinidhi Shetty, Surya Srivastava, Adil Pala, Rao Ramesh and Brahmaji among others. The film has music composed by Mickey J. Meyer, cinematography handled by Sanu John Varghese and editing by Karthika Srinivas.
