Sankranthiki Vasthunam On OTT: Tollywood’s First and Only Hit Of 2025 So Far Set For Streaming On This Date And Platform



Sankranthiki Vasthunam On OTT: After conquering the box office post its Sankkranthi release, Venkatesh Daggubati starrer crime comedy Sankranthiki Vasthunam is all set for its OTT premiere soon. While the makers promised that the film would stream digitally later and would premiere on TV before that, the team has now shared that both the digital and satellite premiere would happen on the same day.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam earned ₹300 crore worldwide during its theatrical run post January 14 release. The makers shared that the simultaneous OTT and satellite premiere of the film will happen on March 1. The TV premiere and OTT release time of the film has been set at 6 pm.

Viewers who did not get a chance to watch the film during its theatrical run will now be able to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes next month in multiple languages- Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Apart from Venkatesh Daggubati, the film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh. It is directed by Anil Ravipudi.

Famous tech entrepreneur Satya Akella (Avasarala Srinivas) returns to Telangana, India, from the United States, only to be kidnapped. Elsewhere, Chief Minister Keshava (Naresh) assigns police officer Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary) to the case of kidnapping. Meenakshi then enlists the help of her ex-boyfriend and former cop, Yadagiri Damodhar Raju (Venkatesh).

Raju, however, has left his action-packed life behind and now enjoys a peaceful life in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, with his wife, Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh), and their family. Determined, Meenakshi travels to Rajahmundry to convince Raju to join the operation. What happens next is shown in the movie.
