Dhaka madrasa blast injures four

DHAKA: Four people, including a child, were injured after a powerful explosion rocked a madrasa in the Bangladesh capital’s Hasnabad area on Friday, with police recovering bomb-making materials from the site. The explosion led to collapse of walls of two rooms of the Umm Al Qura International Madrasa. The madrasa has around 50 students. No students were present at the time of blast – around 10.30 pm – on Friday due to weekly holiday, officials said. Police reported finding cocktail-bombs, chemicals, and bomb-making materials.
