Twitch is under fire again after it restored the account of controversial streamer Nina Lin on December 25, 2025. The move shocked many viewers because her most recent ban was believed to be permanent. The suspension followed viral clips that showed Nina Lin allegedly shoplifting while livestreaming inside a Target store. When her account, NinaDaddyIsBack, went live again on Christmas Day, anger spread fast online. Many users said Twitch keeps forgiving the same behavior again and again. On Reddit, people questioned why the streamer keeps getting chances on Twitch while many others streamers face stricter punishment. The backlash quickly grew, pulling Twitch’s leadership into the spotlight and raising fresh concerns about how the platform handles repeat rule breakers.

Nina Lin responds as Twitch CEO Dan Clancy faces renewed criticism

After the unban, Nina Lin reacted on Instagram through her account @n.nina666. Posting on Christmas Day, she mocked the backlash and suggested her return was always going to happen. She wrote, “We always back… Twitter fingers gon go crazy now.”She also shared a screenshot of a viral post by FearedBuck that claimed she was permanently banned. Nina Lin added the caption, “I had to frame this… I love this so much.” Later, she uploaded another post dressed as The Grinch, wishing followers a Merry Christmas. The reaction online stayed harsh. One Reddit user wrote, “I really don’t understand this. She broke the law multiple times, shows zero regrets or remorse, and she’s already unbanned?” Another added, “Twitch really wants to be as sh*t as Kick.”Some anger turned toward Twitch leadership. A user said, “This company needs a new CEO,” pointing at Dan Clancy, the head of the Amazon-owned platform. Others questioned why Nina Lin continues to be allowed on Twitch despite repeated controversies. One comment read, “I genuinely don’t know why she gets so much lenience. She streamed herself commit theft multiple times.”Nina Lin has now been banned four times since late October 2025. Her first suspension came after a resurfaced viral video showed her and Zoe Spencer behaving inappropriately with Said, a member of FaZe Clan’s production team, during a live stream. Her latest ban followed the Target incident, which many believed would end her Twitch career. For now, Twitch has not released a detailed public statement explaining why the ban was lifted. Also Read: Viral Video Shows Clavicular And N3on Attacked With Red Liquid As Past Crash Livestream Resurfaces Amid Ongoing Kick Ban
