NEW DELHI: Fourteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi delivered a spectacular performance at the Rising Stars Asia Cup in Doha on Friday, scoring a century in just 32 balls with 10 fours and nine sixes, marking India’s strong start in the tournament.The young left-handed batsman’s achievement is now tied for the third-fastest century by an Indian in men’s T20 cricket, surpassing his own previous record.Suryavanshi scored 144 runs off 42 balls, including 15 sixes and 11 fours, in his blistering knowck. Suryavanshi had earlier set a milestone in the 2025 IPL, scoring a hundred in 35 balls while playing for Rajasthan Royals against Gujarat Titans, which stands as the fastest century by an Indian in IPL history.His latest innings demonstrates his continued dominance in T20 cricket, breaking his own previous record with this remarkable performance.More to follow …
