The angle makes it clear that the interaction was pre-meditated by the fan.The incident comes as Gill leads the Indian team in an important phase of their Australian tour, with India trailing 0-1 in the three-match ODI series after losing the first match in Perth by 7 wickets on October 19.Gill’s recent performances against Pakistan in the Asia Cup last month saw him score 10, 47, and 12 runs in three matches.
