During the 50th over, India’s Richa Ghosh attempted a pull shot off a short delivery from Diana Baig. She was caught by Aliya Riaz at mid-off for 8 runs off 4 balls. The sequence continued to add to the drama, with Renuka Singh Thakur coming to the crease and being dismissed off the very next delivery, also caught, this time by Sidra Nawaz off Diana Baig. Despite the hiccup, India posted a competitive total of 247 all out in 50 overs on a pitch that offered some moisture, slowing the ball down and giving bowlers some control.
