Trump Slams 'Terrible' Jimmy Kimmel, Warns Networks Against ‘Cheating’

Donald Trump threw shade at Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show during his Charlie Kirk memorial speech, and went on to criticise “wrong pronoun, commentators and influencers” who “greeted his assassination with sick approval.“Calling out those who “fascism over a cancelled late night TV show,” referring to Kimmel’s show, he declared that the anchor had “no talent and no ratings.”“The wrong pronouns were filled with glee over killing of a father with two beautiful young children. And the same commentators who, this week, are screaming fascism over a cancelled late night TV show where the anchor had no talent and no ratings last week were implying that Charlie Kirk deserved what happened to him,” he said.“Over the last 11 days we have heard stories of commentators, influencers and others in our society who greeted his assassination with sick approval, excuses or even jubilation. Same people who spent last 8 years in moral judgment of anyone who disagreed with them about politics suddenly started cheering for murder. You know their names. They are major losers,” he added.Tens of thousands attended the service, including Vice President JD Vance, senior administration officials, and young conservatives influenced by Kirk’s activism.Trump praised Kirk as a “great American hero” and a “martyr” for freedom. Kirk’s wife, Erika, “forgave” the man charged with killing her husband and affirmed her commitment to lead Turning Point, the organization Kirk founded. Also read: Trump’s little dance makes teary-eyed Erika smile at Charlie Kirk memorial service – watch
