Riding on the tremendous success of her recent release ‘Saiyaara’, actress Aneet Padda is now set to take on a powerful new role in an upcoming courtroom drama ‘Nyaya’. The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Arjun Mathur, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Raghubir Yadav, and Rajesh Sharma.
Known for picking bold characters, Aneet will play the role of a young survivor who takes on a powerful Godman.
Directed by Nitya Mehra, known for ‘Made in Heaven’, and her husband, Karan Kapadia, the film promises an intense, gripping tale of justice, courage, and truth in its fight towards justice for women.
Sources confirmed that Padda’s character brings emotional depth to the narrative, showcasing her in a challenging and impactful performance.
On the work front, Aneet was last seen in ‘Saiyaara’ with Ahaan Panday in the lead role. The film was produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Mohit Suri. It was released on July 18 and became a superhit.
