Currys is dishing out very smart TVs for just £99 and that’s not all

If you need a new TV for the kitchen, spare room or home office, Currys might have just the thing. The UK retailer is currently dishing out a 32-inch JVC model for just £99.99. This screen is not only fully HD (High Definition) ready but also powered by Roku technology. That means there’s full access to a swathe of streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+ and BBC iPlayer without the need for a set-top box or dongle taking up a precious HDMI port.

There’s also the Roku channel, which comes pre-installed on the device and offers access to plenty of content for free.

This TV usually costs £119.99, but that’s been slashed by £20 in the current sale. There’s also a smaller 24-inch telly which is priced at £94.99 – saving £5.

That JVC deal is great for those wanting a budget TV, but Currys has plenty more offers available right now, including up to £250 off certain screens when trading in an old telly you might happen to own.

For example, there’s £100 off Samsung’s QN70F 65″ Neo QLED telly when trading plus a further £200 off as part of the sale event. That means this £1,299 television can be popped in your online shopping basket for just £999.99.

Opt for the Sony Bravia 55-inch OLED TV and you’ll get £250 off by trading in.

This £2,499 premium screen was already reduced by £500. Add the trade-in discount and this drops to £1,749.

Currys isn’t the only store offering cheap TVs. Argos currently has the 32-inch Bush telly, which is powered by Freely, for £119 – that’s its ‘lowest ever’ price.

There’s also a 50-inch Samsung screen for £299, which is also the ‘lowest ever’ Argos price.
