Actor Ananya Panday is one of the most sought-after stars of Bollywood today. Apart from being a paparazzi favourite, Ananya is also very popular on social media. She is often seen sharing slices from her very glamourous life with her fans and they just cannot get enough of it.
On Saturday, the actress gave her fans a sneak peek into a small yet important thing that makes her happy – reading.
She shared a picture on her Instagram Stories of the “Hunger Games” prequel books – “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” and “Sunrise on the Reaping”.
Alongside the photo, she wrote, “Enjoyed The Hunger Games trilogy so much as a teenager! Getting into the prequels now.”
The “Hunger Games” is a series of five young adult dystopian novels by Suzanne Collins and a corresponding film franchise, centred on the nation of Panem where teens are forced to fight to the death.
The books and movies, which explore themes of power, violence, and media manipulation, include the main trilogy “The Hunger Games” (2008), “Catching Fire” (2009) and “Mockingjay” (2010) following Katniss Everdeen and two prequels: “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” (2020) and the upcoming “Sunrise on the Reaping”.
