100 Not Out! Cristiano Ronaldo creates history, becomes first player ever to score ...

Cristiano Ronaldo once again etched his name in football history on Saturday, becoming the first player to score 100 competitive goals for four different clubs. The milestone arrived during the Saudi Super Cup final at Hong Kong Stadium, where his strike wasn’t enough to prevent Al-Nassr from losing to Al-Ahli in a dramatic penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. The landmark adds to his glittering tallies of 450 goals for Real Madrid, 145 for Manchester United and 101 for Juventus. In doing so, Ronaldo surpassed a select group of greats — Isidro Langara, Romario and Neymar — all of whom had scored 100 goals for three clubs but never four.Ronaldo, who is also international football’s all-time leading scorer with 138 goals for Portugal, gave Al-Nassr the lead in the 41st minute. Though Franck Kessie quickly equalised for Al-Ahli, Marcelo Brozovic restored Al-Nassr’s advantage late on, only for Roger Ibanez to head home and force penalties.Ronaldo duly converted his spot-kick in the shootout, but teammate Abdullah Al-Khaibari missed as Al-Ahli sealed a 5-3 victory, denying the Portuguese legend his first major trophy in Saudi Arabia.Even in defeat, the night belonged to Ronaldo — a record-breaker who continues to redefine football longevity.
