Heinrich Klaasen offered fans a glimpse into the lighter side of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) camp during a light-hearted interaction on the franchise’s official YouTube channel. The South African batter mixed praise with playful banter, taking cheeky digs at his teammates while also handing out compliments. The surprising moment came when Klaasen was asked about the best actor in the team. Without hesitation, he turned his attention to Ishan Kishan. But it was his praise on Pat Cummins that left fans in splits. “For overseas, I think Pat (Cummins). I think Pat gets the pronunciation of all the words spot on. The acting is okay. But there are low budget movies out there, so we give it to him,” Klaasen joked. While Cummins was on the receiving end of some trolling, Klaasen saved his highest praise for Ishan Kishan. The left-handed batter, who joined SRH in the IPL 2025 auction, was named as the standout performer when it comes to acting. “We did a shoot and he was unbelievable,” Klaasen said, recalling a past experience with Kishan. The South African also revealed how Kishan is often the “mirror magnet” in the squad, pointing out the youngster’s obsession with grooming. “Doing a couple of shoots with him, I would say Ishan (Kishan). Ishan really needs to get his hair perfectly to be happy,” Klaasen remarked.

Not stopping there, he even mentioned that Adam Zampa could compete with Kishan in the hairstyle department. Referring to the Australian spinner’s different looks over the years, Klaasen laughed off that Zampa was probably the “haircut enthusiast” in the side.Klaasen’s mix of banter and genuine appreciation gave fans a closer look at the team’s off-field dynamics, while his dig at Cummins stood out as the most memorable moment.
